Sofia Achame-Räisänen

Sofia has an educational background in law from Ethiopia and Finland. She has been a member of Think Africa (TA) since 2019 and has served in TA’s board as a secretary (2020) and Vice-Chair (2021). She has also been part of several projects in TA including  in #iVoteSeries, TA’s book club, and facilitating the lounge in lead roles.

She is passionate about advocating for immigrants’ rights and fostering a welcoming environment for all individuals. Originally from Ethiopia, she is dedicated to empower and uplift immigrants and especially people of African descent in Finland.
